Hostal Refugio de Reyes

Located in one of the finest neighborhoods in the city, Refugio de Reyes Guesthouse is charming and safe. We offer our guests a relaxing environment and tranquillity that will assure a pleasant experience.
The house was built in 1953 .It’s conveniently located that is a 8-minutes walk from downtown and the main restaurants, shops, bars, snack bars, museums and historical places. Besides it is in front of the local migration offices, which greatly facilitates any visa paperwork. Local beaches are less than one hour driving and are among the best ones of the Island. Because of its geographic location it is of easy access to Santiago de Cuba, Las Tunas, Camagüey, Bayamo, Baracoa and other tourist areas in the East of Cuba.
Refugio de Reyes has three luxurious rooms for rent.

One is an apartment that occupies the top roof. It has a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed, kitchenette, bathroom and terrace with great views of the city that is also ideal for sunbathing and resting. Also has air conditioning, pressure hot and cold water, TV, hairdryer, refrigerator and parking.  A single bed could be added if a triple room is required.

The second and the third rooms are bungalows located at the garden, separated of the main house. Both are secluded by a garden of fruit trees, vines, ornamental plants, and exotic fishes.  These rooms have their own terraces, windowpanes with great view, air conditioning, pressure hot and cold water, TV, hairdryers refrigerator, and parking. The bigger room have a king size bed (a single bed could be added if a triple room is required). The smaller room has queen-size bed.

We provide privacy, comfort and excellent Cuban cuisine. We are available and happy to help you organize additional locally available services such as transportation, gymnasiums, and guided tours. Wi-fi is available everywhere in the house.

Other available services (not include in the price of the rent) are the taxi pick-up at the Frank País International Airport or at the Viazul Bus Station, laundry and gastronomic services.
The owners of the hostel are Sara and David, two biologists who have endeavored to reproduce in the patio of the house the natural environments they have seen in their field work in many locations in Cuba, creating ideal areas for rest and enjoyment of those people who like nature. Both are lovers of Cuban and international gastronomy and often experiment with making dishes with different touches for the enjoyment of visitors.
